Supply Chain Systems Manager (Brussel)
For one of our clients, an leading company in medical devices, we are looking for an Supply Chain Systems Manager
Function:
You must be capable of maintaining and further developing processes, supply chain systems and tools for supply chain planning systems. You are a key player in the projects create sustainable planning systems and prepare for migration to future state systems.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain knowledge on the systems (Manugistics and JDE) needed for supply chain planning.
- Participate in the development and implementation of an integrated supply chain system strategy
- Provide expert knowledge on Supply Chain tools and develop supply chain decision support tools to achieve business objectives.
- Participate in planning system projects to create a bridging strategy until the Franchise migrates to SAP APO.
- Prepare for and participate in project to migrate to SAP APO.
- Partner with the sector and regional supply chains and IT Teams in system integrations and developments
Profile:
- Masters degree in business or related field is required.
- A minimum of 5 years Supply Chain management/Operations or related experience is required. Has experience with Supply Chain systems and tools. Must have ability to develop and maintain business partnerships at all levels of the organization; demonstrate sound decision-making and influencing skills. Must have experience leading multi-site and cultural change management strategy Experience in the medical device and/or pharmaceutical industry is helpful. Some travel could be required.
- Ability to manage time against projects and priorities, have strong data analysis and problem solving skills. Must be able to work effectively in a team environment, demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills and conducting presentations. Must have a high level of personal initiative and ability to function autonomously with a strong sense of urgency, self-confidence, and comfort with new and rapidly changing situations and environments. Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications (Excel, Access, and PowerPoint) is required and Supply Chain systems and/or database experience is a plus (SAP / JDE / Manugistics / APO / APS (Demantra/PDP) / SQL).
